Chief's Corner

The ‘Chief’s Corner’ used to be a column that Chief Giese used to write for the local newspaper many years ago. Over the last 20 years, members of the department have changed, state laws and departmental policies have changed, and the community has changed. What has not changed is our focus on serving our community.

Though it has not been utilized in a long time, the department has come to recognize that the Chief’s Corner is an important avenue to share valuable information with our community members. The Chief’s Corner is also an opportunity to share how our department forms, executes, and applies our departmental policies in service to our community. It is also a valuable resource to provide pertinent details and informational resources related to calls we respond to in our community, including topics such as updated state laws, scammers and identity theft, elder abuse, and drug abuse.
