NH Dept of Safety Communications Update January 2024

JANUARY 2024 UDPATE FOR EMERGENCY ALERTS

Sign up for emergency alerts through NH Alerts

Emergency alerts including road closures, severe weather, boil water orders, evacuation orders, and other emergency information that first responders need to communicate to residents will be distributed via NH Alerts.

  • You can choose to receive notifications via phone call, email, and/or text notifications. ('Notifications' tab).
  • You can opt in to the types of notifications you wish to receive - including those specific to Interstate I-89 (under the 'Account' section), as well as what type of weather alerts you would like to receive ('Notifications'). 

Please note - to provide the best service for area alerts, ensure you include your address.
