RE: Horse Accident Investigation Update
DETAILS: On October 16, 2021, at approximately 6:20pm, the Enfield Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash of a vehicle versus horse and rider. The investigation into the crash has revealed that speed, distracted driving, or impairment were not factors in the crash. The evidence collected and the multiple witnesses interviewed show that visibility, road terrain, and a lack of proper safety equipment were the major factors in the crash. At this time, this case has been closed with no further action.
