Voting in person

  • You must be in line no later than 7:00 PM to vote in person
  • Please maintain 6’ physical distancing
  • Facemasks are required to enter the building. 
  • Curbside voting is available to those who do not wish to go into the building.
  • Do not wear electioneering clothing in the polling place. 
  • The distribution or posting of electioneering communications, including but not limited to posters, cards, handbills, placards, pictures, pins, stickers, circulars, or articles of clothing, is prohibited within any no-electioneering corridor established outside the polling place by the moderator.  (59:43 Electioneering at the Polling Place, VII.)

Absentee Ballots

  • Must be received by November 3, 2020
  • May be dropped off in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, 23 Main Street, during regular business hours:

Today, Tuesday October 27 until 7:00 PM
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Monday, November 2, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

  • May be dropped off in person at the Town Clerk’s office, 23 Main Street, on the day of the General Election

Assistant in Voting; Disabled Voter

  • NH State Statute 659:20-a states,  “Any voter, after appearing at the polling place location prior to the closing of the polls to vote in person, who declares to the moderator under oath that said voter is unable to access a polling place due to disability shall, upon the voter’s request, have the required documents delivered to the voter outside the guardrail by the town or ward clerk or one of his or her assistants.”  
  • COVID-19 qualifies as a reason to not want to enter a polling place.
