Community Nursing Committee

At the November 20th meeting, the Select Board approved of the formation of the Community Nursing Committee as a Town Manager advisory committee to work with town staff to make recommendations to the Town Manager regarding the Town of Enfield Community Nursing Program.

Duration:
The Committee shall be established for a undetermined period of time and will maintain
committee status while the Town of Enfield is contracting or providing community nursing
services.


Membership and Charge:
The Committee shall have seven (7) members, 6 of which are appointed by the Selectboard,
and one staff member appointed by the Town Manager. The Selectboard and Town Manager
will make every effort to appoint a diverse committee with different backgrounds to ensure
the program is looked at from many different perspectives.


Duties:
The Committee is tasked with the following:
1. Review data provided to ensure the program is meeting the needs of the Town of
Enfield.
2. Meet with community nurses to gain their perspective on the program and the needs
of the Town of Enfield
3. Advise the Town Manager of the status of the program and make recommendations of
changes if and when necessary.
4. Continue fundraising efforts to minimize taxpayer impact.
