ATTENTION ENFIELD RESIDENTS - PROPERTY REAPPRAISAL

The Enfield Assessing Department is in the process of collecting data that will be used to conduct a reappraisal of all property within the Town for 2019. The new assessments will be effective for the second issue tax bill of that year. This process includes many aspects of reviewing information, one of which is conducting field reviews. Beginning October 20, the Town’s Assessor, Norm Bernaiche and his assistant, Kris McAlister will be conducting field reviews of every property within the municipality.

They will be reviewing each neighborhood verifying such items as siding, roof cover and outbuildings. They may take photographs if necessary as well as review the overall quality and condition of the neighborhood. This visit may take several seconds or minutes depending on the complexity of the property or if the assessors have been there in recent years. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
