The Town of Enfield is located in Grafton County in the State of New Hampshire.

The Town of Enfield covers an area of 43.1 square miles bordered by Lebanon, the regional commercial and population center, the Sullivan County towns of Plainfield, Grantham and Springfield to the south and the Grafton County towns of Canaan and Hanover to the north and Grafton to the east.
Interstate 89 travels through the relatively undeveloped southwestern portion of town. US Route 4 and NH Route 4A form the major arteries through town.
Mascoma Lake represents Enfield’s lowest elevation at 751 feet above sea level. The highest elevation in Enfield is over 2000 feet in a small area near Halfmile Pond.

Airport: The Lebanon Municipal Airport
provides flights to Boston, New York and Philadelphia.

Hospitals: Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center is located off Route 120 in Lebanon NH, and Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is located at 125 Mascoma Street in Lebanon NH are both within 15 minutes of the Town of Enfield. The Mascoma Community Care Center, associated with Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is located on US Route 4 in Enfield.
Newspapers: The Valley News, published daily, is the. local newspaper that serves the Town of Enfield and the surrounding area.

Schools: The Town of Enfield is part of a school district identified as School Administrative Unit #62, that consists of five towns: Enfield, Canaan, Dorchester, Grafton and Orange.
Enfield students in kindergarten through grade four attend the Enfield Village School located on US Route 4. Enfield students in grades 5 through 8 attend the Indian River School and students in grades 9 through 12 attend the Mascoma Valley Regional High School; both schools are located on the same grounds on US Route 4 in West Canaan.
