10th Annual Memorial Day Military Display

The Town of Enfield asks all citizens to join in a ceremony to honor those who gave the supreme sacrifice for the love of our country. Please visit the commemoration after the parade at the Community Building.

9:45 am- Formation of Parade between Huse Park and the Enfield Police Station
10 am Color Guard ~ Commander David Stacy and American Legion Post #55,
Mascoma Valley Regional High School Band, led by Band Director, Mr. David Wilson
10:10 Veteran’s Memorial Park ~ under the direction of Police Chief Crate
Scouts lowering the flags to half-mast National Anthem - Band
**Placement of Wreath at Park**
Lloyd Wheeler, US Navy, 1960-1964 3rd Class Petty Officer
Police Sgt Roy Holland, US Marine, and, US Army (ret)
10:25 (Oak Grove Street) Oak Grove Cemetery
Presentation: Police Chief Richard A. Crate Jr. (moment of silence)
ALL -- PLEDGE of ALLEGIENCE
~ Scouts lower flag to half-mast ~ MVRHS band will play.
Address: Curtis Payne, US Navy, 1974-1980 Petty Officer 2nd Class
Volley by American Legion Post #55 ~~~ TAPS, performed by MVRHS Band members
Parade route back ~ Oak Grove, to Main Street, to Whitney Hall and Huse Park.
Main Street Bridge wreath-toss:~Lloyd Wheeler, US Navy 3rd Class Petty Officer, and
all US Navy Veterans in attendance at the Parade
11:00 Enfield Fire Department will end the parade.
